Who sees what

Other members see your first name, last initial, city, age range, photo, and profile details. Authorized administrators can access limited account information, including your name, email, city, and ZIP code, to manage accounts. Private chats are not available in the standard admin dashboard. Administrators can review information you choose to submit in a report.

Information we collect

• Account: email, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), date of birth, city, state, ZIP code.
• Profile: first name, last initial, photo, about me, friendship intentions, interests.
• Optional: phone number, shared only through mutual consent after 10 confirmed conversations.

Date of birth

Your date of birth is used to confirm you are 18+ and to show an age range (like “30s”). It is never shown to other members or in the admin dashboard.

Location

We never ask for your home address or live GPS location. Your map pin is placed at a fixed, generalized point roughly 3–10 miles from the center of your city. You can hide your pin at any time in Settings.

Messages

Messages are visible to you and the friend you are chatting with. They are not end-to-end encrypted; they are stored on our servers and protected by access controls. Notification emails never include message content.

Phone numbers

Removing your number from Blessed Tribe cannot erase a copy someone already received.

Deletion

You can delete your account from Settings. Reports you filed or that were filed about you may be retained for safety purposes.
